NAME

kwenza-resolve - Write kwenza.lock if it is missing or out of date

SYNOPSIS

kwenza resolve [options]

DESCRIPTION

Makes sure kwenza.lock matches kwenza.toml, without compiling or packaging anything. With a lock that already matches, it only checks the locked jars are in the local cache and unaltered, and makes no network calls. Otherwise it resolves from Maven Central and writes the lock.

Every command that needs dependencies does this first anyway; resolve is for doing only that, for example to commit a new lock after editing the manifest. Versions only change when you change them in kwenza.toml: every version there is exact, so resolving the same manifest again always produces the same lock.

Display Options

-v
--verbose: Print extra detail: one line per resolved dependency when resolving from Maven Central, and the full java command (binary path and every classpath entry) when running something.

EXIT STATUS

0: kwenza succeeded.
1: kwenza failed, for a reason you can fix; the error message says what and how.
2: the command line was invalid: an unknown command or option.
101: kwenza hit a bug in itself. Please report it, with the output of --verbose.
